What is count-based filling?
Count-based filling is now in service at our packaging station. Common practice for maize and sunflower, it means the grower knows in advance how many plants a bag will yield.
The basis of the measurement: thousand-kernel weight
Filling rests on the thousand-kernel weight: measured in our laboratory on a sample from the batch and logged in the batch report. The kernel count is printed on the label together with the batch number and grade.
Packaging and label options
Packaging and label belong to the customer; filling is done in kraft bags, PP sacks and big bags.
